Cooking with the William’s

I was approached by Monique Williams about a cooking lesson for her and her husband Andrew Williams, as it was a surprise gift for him.
Everything was arranged with Monique and the date was set.
Monique made sure they were at home when I arrived early Saturday evening. Monique decided she would like to buy all the fresh and dry ingredients herself which was fine with me.
I like to take my own knives as I feel a little lost without them, and recently I’ve been sponsored some Japanese knives from a company called Unique Japan that go with me wherever I work.
Andrew always wanted to learn how to make a béarnaise sauce as they where going to be having a dinning party soon, and wanted to cook Chateaubriand as the béarnaise sauce would go well with it.
Everything came together very nicely during the evening, and to make it that extra bit special we drank some lovely wines as life is to short to drink bad wines!
